Celebrate World Whisky Day this year with these fun and simple recipes

As you may agree, whisky is a standout amongst the most prominent spirits on the planet offering a distinctive range of blends and flavors. One can enjoy whisky the way they think is best for their pallet- whether it be on the ice, in a cocktail or with soda.

While its consumption in its conventional avatar shall long live in vogue across the world, parallel to this, whisky cocktails are increasingly becoming popular.

1.       Royal Summer 


·         50ml Grant’s Family Reserve

·         100ml Champagne

·         1 Sugar Cube Soaked in bitters


·         1. Add sugar cube soaked in bitters to a Champagne flute.

·         2. Add whisky and top with Champagne.

·         3. Garnish with a lemon twist.

  1. Rusty Nail 


  • 50ml Grant’s Family Reserve
  • 25ml Drambuie
  • Lemon Twist or Orange Rind


  • Add ice to the glass.
  • Add the whisky and Drambuie to the glass and stir.
  • Garnish with a lemon twist or orange rind.
  1. Blood and Sand


  • 50ml Grant’s Family Reserve
  • 50ml Orange Juice
  • 45ml Sweet Vermouth


  • Add Whisky, Orange Juice and sweet vermouth to a shaker.
  • Add in a spoon of juice from the Maraschino cherry jar.
  • Strain and garnish with a Maraschino cherry.
