Whisky pairings to try out this Christmas

Sceptical about which drink to pair with your scrumptious Christmas spread? We’ve got you covered with these amazing ideas to try out!

Cuppa:

This is literally the perfect way to spike your tea. Take it up a notch with some lemon juice or a pinch of nutmeg powder. Cuppa is sure to leave you pleasantly smitten!

Ingredients

  • 50ml Grant’s Family Reserve
  • 75ml Tea
  • 10ml Honey or Maple Syrup

Recipe

  1. Brew tea and add ice to a shaker.
  2. Add all ingredients and shake vigorously.
  3. Strain into a tea cup and top with grated nutmeg.

G.E.M: Grant’s Espresso Martini:

Move aside vodka! We like our espresso martini with a scotch twist. This rich cocktail is a perfect accompaniment for all those festive cakes.

Ingredients

  • 50ml Grant’s Family Reserve
  • 1 Shot Espresso
  • 25ml Kahlua

Recipe

  1. Make an espresso and fill shaker with ice.
  2. Add all ingredients and shake.
  3. Strain & garnish with coffee beans.

Rusty Nail: 

Easy, punchy and super elegant, this cocktail is bound to be a party favourite. Perfect for literally any time of the day!

Ingredients:

  • 50ml Grant’s Family Reserve
  • 25ml Drambuie
  • Lemon Twist or Orange Rind

Recipe:

  1. Add ice to the glass.
  2. Add Grants whisky and Drambuie to the glass and stir.
  3. Garnish with a lemon twist or orange rind.
