According to the designer Rohini Gugnani, “Common Wealth is a great platform to showcase one’s skilled passion. It’s an opportunity to represent one’s own country in front of the world and to charity for the welfare of the world that are under privilege and need help in terms of education & awareness. I’m very grateful to Mr. Asphandiar Wadiwalla, National group Director of the Canadian and Allied group of Countries and the organizer of Commonwealth Empowerment week, for his support and kindness. I pay my gratitude to Princess Halliday (Princess of Nigeria) who gorgeously presented my design on the ramp and being the Showstopper. ”

The show was all glittery and had a special spark as the models on the ramp were not the ordinary ones. Jessica Martins and Kashmira Aatia were the winners of Miss Commonwealth and Mrs. Commonwealth pageants of previous years and with them, model Natasha and Katrina were the cherries on the top. They complimented best to the designs. Rohini Gugnani’s husband Kundan Gugnani and Sister Sneha Aggarwal, being a part of audience encouraged her for getting crowned as Designer Diva. It was a proud moment for them too.
