Asus Zenfone 3s Max review –Powerpacked smartphone for unlimited entertainment

Asus recently launched another smartphone of Zenfone series with maximum power capability of 5000 mAh. Here’s a quick review on the ZenFone 3s Max.

Display & Design

Featuring a 5.2-inch 720p HD display, it comes with a metal body and 2.5D contoured glass the phone is pretty comfortable for daily use.There is fingerprint scanner as well .Weighing 175 grams with 8.85mm thickness, the device is powered by a 1.5 GHz 64-bit octa-core processor with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal memory which can be expanded up to 2TB via microSD card.Other features include GPS, AGPS and Compass for accurate navigation, and Gyroscope and Accelerometer for a seamless game and system orientation. The Zenfone 3S Max also has WiFi 802.11b/g/n and Bluetooth v4.0 for seamless connectivity.

Camera

The  smartphone comes with a 13-megapixel rear camera with f/2.0 aperture, 5P Largan lens, PDAF, and dual-LED real-tone flash. The camera supports video recording up to 1080p (30fps). For selfies, it comes with an 8-megapixel front camera with f/2.0 aperture and 85 degree wide angle lens.  The rear camera performs well above average, but suffers under low-light conditions. The front 8 MP camera is great for selfies  with  beautification mode as well as several other effects .

Audio

The Asus Zenfone 3S Max features an ICEpower enhanced mono 5-magnet loudspeaker which produces high-quality loud sound. The dual microphone ensures noise cancellation, while the in-built AudioWizard app allows customizations to create an audio experience specifically tailored to the user.

Software

It is loaded with the latest Android 7.0 Nougat and ZenUI 3.0 for added personalization.

Performance

Zenfone 3s Max is a phone aimed at users who want a compact device with a large battery,impressive design and build quality. The phone has a metallic body, a decent camera, 32GB onboard storage and Android 7.0 Nougat out-of-box.
