16 Creepy Photos That Will Make You Believe In Ghosts

Are they among us? People have wanted to believe in ghosts for as long as the thought has existed. They are everywhere, in literature and music, philosophy and movies, and at the center of various television shows exploring the existence of the paranormal.

For every person who believes in ghosts, you will find one who doesn’t. It really is a mystery on whether or not they exist. Some people will swear to you they’ve had their own experiences, while others refuse to believe that anything ghost-related can’t be explained away.

But the question still remains, what happens when there is proof that can’t be debunked so easily? Is any of it good enough to convert a non-believer? Take look for yourself at some of the creepiest and most famous ghost pictures and decide for yourself, fact or fiction?

There has been a great deal of debate over the authenticity of this photo, though no conclusion has been made either way.

13. The Willard Library Ghost.

The form captured in the photo above is what the staff at Willard Library refer to as their Shadow Person. The library snapped this picture from their surveillance system. Staff at the library and people who watch the tapes, which the library has made available online, describe this creature as sometimes being just a shadow and sometimes being a semi-humanoid form. Either way, the staff at Willard Library embrace their ghosts in the biggest way.

14. The Lincoln County Ghost.

This is another picture that was taken off security cameras. The Lincoln County Courthouse in North Carolina is home to a ghost that comes out to look over the notes of the staff working there. When this photo was taken, there was no one in the building, but the sight of the form caused enough concern for security to go into the courthouse and check it out. There was no one there and all the doors and windows remained closed and locked.

This photo was taken in 1963 by Reverend K. F. Lord at Newby Church in North Yorkshire, England.
